The time has come to stop my tramadol painkillers, that I've been taking for the last year or so, and try something a bit stronger. Tonight I'll try MST slow release morphium and see if its gonna work better then tramadol. I also got oral morph for the times that MST is not working well enough. That should be enough painkillers for now.

I'm not very excited about it as I usually have side effects with morphium (such as itching and bit of aggression) so I'll see how it goes. If its not good the I might switch to something else.

I also bought a pre payment certificate for my pills even though my nurse is sure that I shouldn't pay for my pills anyway. And thats all thats new.

I'm still waiting for my new PC and its taking ages. They offered me a free processor upgrade because of the delay but I hope it won't take too long before I get it.

Also not to forget we should be going for a holiday to Spain in 10 days and I'm pretty excited about that. I need to sort out my painkillers before then so I'll be nice and comfy and able to enjoy my holiday.

Well, exciting week for my websites. First some turkish group has used a exploit in my Expose Gallery that I didn't patch to hack www.robdian.co.uk and then some other hacker managed to get into my www.patients-online.org website.

I'm confident that www.robdian.co.uk is now patched and should be all ok. I found number of files that the hacker left on my website which, when executed, could do all sorts of things. Great piece of software/php scripting. I'm confident that I removed everything that shouldn't be there and hope it will not happen again.

I'm not sure how they managed to hack my other website and I didn't find any hidden files left over either. I'll see if the manage to get in again. 

If these guys put their time into something useful they could be quite productive. Anyway, at least they had the courtesy not to delete everything.

Well, it seems that today was my last trip from having chemo at hospital.

The Ifosfomide doesn't seem to bge working and my lung mets have progressed. The largest one in my right lung is now 10cm big as oppose to 6cm 2 months ago.

So now I'll have a few weeks break to get back together and then I'll go see my consultant and decide if thats it for treatment or if I want to try some experiments/other things. One way or another I'm now pretty much in palative care.

So I'm half way through my time between 2nd and 3rd cycle and so fa so good :-)

I mean not great but much better than last time and I'm doing my best to stay away from infections as well. Another week and I'm suppose to go for the 3rd cycle. I'll have a CT before to see if its worth while or not.

The Tour de France is starting today. I wish I had enough energy to go there and take few pics but I'm not up to it at the moment (way too many people).

We went to a theatre to watch Lenkas colleague in one of the main roles in their college play. It was pretty good so at least we didn't sit at home Friday night.

It's a busy weekend in London this week. Live Earth, Tour de France, Streatham Festival, Wimbledon but it looks like I'll be sitting at home most of the time.
