...Back from the doc
I went to see my Doc today again to tell him what I've decided to do. So in the next 2-3 weeks I'll have my kidney test and picc/central line fitted and should have the first cycle of IFOS sometimes in early June.
It should be 3 days every 3 weeks and apparently they have some little backpacks to put the pump and chemo in so I can have the chemo in the hotel close by to the hospital. I think they don't have a lot of space in the hospital these days... That should be interesting. I don't know what the hotel will be like as its arranged by the NHS but it should be better than hospital. I've never stayed in a hotel in central London, first time for everything.

Oh crap...
Well, I've been quiet for a while as things were starting to get back to normal. I went back to work again, doing something I've always wanted to do and for a while I thought that things might be ok.
Week ago I went for my scan results and as always there was no good news. In the last 3 months my lungs went from clear to having multiple metastases in both lungs, some of them rather big plus some dodgy area in my back. Pretty much the last stage of Osteosarcoma.
The Doc offered me few options but none of them very attractive. If I don't do anything it will take about 2 moths before the symptoms will become serious. Things must be getting worse already because its becoming harder every night to find comfortable position.
The only one option that I think I can go with is to try one of the chemo drugs that I had before and hope that it will have some positive effect (even though they suppose to work less the second time around).
I don't know which drug he/me will choose but it will be either mathatraxate or ifosfamide. Well, it looks like I'm heading back to hospital
