I got a copy of a letter from my consultant to my lung surgeon. It seems that they will discuss my case on 18th september when the surgeon (the same that has done my other lung operations) will decide if he thinks he can resect the met on my lungs or not. If he can, great, I'm not looking forward to it too much but it will give me some extra time. If not then I'll be sent to radiation in order to try and slow things down a bit.
One way or another it looks like I'll be having interesting few months. I feel the stuff growing in my lungs now and it's not a nice feeling. I know how fucking sore it was last time they've done the operation so i'm absolutely not looking forwar to it but at least it would get rid of "foreign ball" sitting between my lungs (for those who understand medical talk - left sided left upper lobe lesion which seems to be into the mediastinum)
It definitely feels like a better option comparing to 6 weeks, 5 days a week radiation.
So I've been keeping myself busy lately. Completly new web page on my usual address www.robdian.co.uk and some new additions in my picture library.

Just to show off one of them... this one is taken from the london eye and through the glass but still came out pretty well. I've been also busy setting up my Cafepress shop and doing a bit of research about printing t-shirts, since its still bit expensive here in UK.
My kubuntu is nice and works like magic right now. Pitty that Skype for linux doesn't support video and Photoshop CS2 doesn't come for linux either...bastards.
I've been pretty crappy lately so at least there is something to keep me occupied. I'm spending my day reading through the Ubuntu forums.
Well, its been a long time since I posted on my blog or updated my website... I spend last couple of days getting rid of the old website and putting up a completely new one. All about Photography and Open source. I switched away from Windows and I'm currrently running my PC on Kubuntu Linux. Its lovely to be spyware and virus free :-)
So whiloe I'm enjoying my newly foung computer freedom I'll be posting some of my experiences and of course uploading some new pictures from my camera.
For those taht know nothing about the Ubuntu project have a look here. And don't forget to check out the new look of my site and post some feedback.
