blood count still down

I was suppose to go for another round of chemo last week but the hospital was too busy, as it was today but my today's blood test shown my white blood count being down (0.8 today) so I have to have another one tomorrow and maybe I'll go to hospital on Wednesday. I'm surprised that my blood is still down as I'm now week late for chemo so it had extra week to recover but after 3 cycles my blood is down most of the time. 2 years ago when I had my 1st chemo treatment I had to have blood transfusions few times, with this one I managed to avoid that so far. Will see...

...at home

So I was supposed to have my 4th cycle of chemo this week but there was no bed available in the hospital and they got som nasty infection on the ward so I'm at home. It looks like I'll be having my chemo on monday/tuesday. I'm pleased because now I'll be at home when my friend comes for a visit next month as I was ment to have cycle 5 when he is here. And alos I got another weekend at home when I feel pretty good so I can do something or go somewhere. The weather is also good, very cold but nice and sunny. It's all good today. I wonder for how long.

Back from Snowdonia

So we are back from our weekend in Snowdonia. It's a really nice part of Wales. I put some picture on Flikr but they are not showing at the moment.

Today I was suppose to go to hospital for my 4th chemo but there was no bed so I just went thre to have a CT done and then had to go back home. I'm glad because I don't feel like chemo today. 

Yesterday Slovakia beaten Sweden ice hockey on Olympics and kept they perfect record so far. Today is a big game - with czechs. Usually we lose to them so I hope that tonight will be different. ...Olympics

I'm really disappointed with BBC's coverage of the Olympics. They're showing curling and not much else. Where is the ice hockey??? Anyway, I'm feeling ok again, having all my tests and going away over the weekend. Afterwards its back to hospital for more chemo.

Bored

The Olympics started but the BBC is not showing a lot of live action on their normal channels so I'm watching rubbish whole day. The weather was really nice in London and I thought I'll go somewhere but I'm too lazy to move. The roof of my moth is little bit sore. The lovely effect of chemo. Anyway, we booked a weekend away in Snowdonia park and I can't wait. Hope everything is gonna be OK, I won't get sick and we'll have a good time.

Come on...

I spend last two days just cooking and not much else. Slowly getting through all the post chemo stages after my 3rd cycle. Anyway, Olympics start today so from tomorrow I'll have something to watch all the time.

Counting days

I think another 2 days and my stomach will be settled and I will feel OK...at least I hope so. The weather doesn't look very good at the moment. "The guy that dressed up in London's protest as a suicide bomber is a convicted drug dealer." - it really needs no comment, whole lot of them can go where they came from. Now when I got that out of my mind, back to moaning about myself. I really hope I'll feel better in 2 days. Yeah you already read that, sorry :-) cheers

Still struggling

I'm still feeling bit sick. I'm eating plenty just my stomach doesn't like it as much. Few more days and it should be back to normal. After a week in hospital I spent whole of this morning sorting all the post/bills and other pieces. Now I can finally relax and hopefully everything is under control. And that's it. I think tomorrow I'm gonna stop moaning about how shit I feel and start moaning about the radical muslim hypocrites... so till then

Feeling :-/

It's almost 24 hours since they disconnected me from chemo/post hydration and I'm still feeling bit blooo. It's funny how sometimes after chemo I feel pretty good and sometimes it hits me bit more. Anyway the weather looks good and my lovely wife is cooking some nice lunch so I'm looking forward.

Back from hospital

So I'm back from another session of chemo. I just came home and still feeling bit funny. Well i got the few uncomfortable days infront of me. I'll catch up tomorrow with a little bit of more energy.
