back home again

so i'm back at home after my operation. I wasn't painful the first 2 days and I was very suprised but it has changed since and I'm in pain again. Anyway, hopefully this was the last operation for some time and now its just to recover and start living again.

I'm bit scared of the histology report as they found something that wasn't on the scan and i hope it was dead because if it was alive it's not very good news.

See you later

If everything goes according to plan I'll be off to hospital tomorrow. Next time I'll be writing here I'll be complaining about pain in this and pain in that...

We went to brighton yesterday, it was quite nice. Weather was good so we sat on the beach for a while.

1 more week

I have 1 more week till my operation. This time next week I'll be sore and swearing at everyone. As long as its the last one I don't mind. Just hoping that the scar on the right side will be exactly the same as the left side. My back is gonna look really weird as i gonna have a scar going almost across whole back plus another 2 holes on the side is gonna make a total of 7 holes. I must make up some story about being in war or something...

Stationary bike

I'm slowly getting back to shape after my chemo and mainly after my lung resection and I'm cycling every day.

My time has improved quite a bit, but since I got no-one to compare it with except myself, I'm not sure if its good or not really. If one of you out there fancy yourself as a fit person - jump on your excersise bike and time yourself over 2 miles on level 2 (i know every bike is different but...) and let me know your time. I went down from about 11mins 45secs after operation to 9mins 20secs now.

Just wondering...

Freeeezing

Its freezing outside. Woke up to a white morning today. No wonder I was cold at night. Two weeks ago I thought the winter is over and ...

Anyway. There really isn't much going on at the moment. I have to drive to the airport today so I hope that they will clear the roads till than.

:-( DELL :-(

My laptop has been on strike for some time now, switching off without any apparent reason just when you least expect it. Dell wanted to charge me £350 to get it fixed. Well after a bit of research I found out that I'm one of thouse idiots that bought a laptop with a bit of a design problem in the heating system.

Anyway, the only way to keep the problem under control is regular cleaning of the heat sink and fan. So i took out my screwdriver and took my laptop apart, removed the melted compound on top of CPU and replaced it with arctic alumina and cleaned all the dust from the cooling. I had to reasemble it 6 times before I found out what I've done wrong and made the computer working. Almost thought I need to go buy new one  Well, its working and it didn't switch off yet so lets hope it will last few months until I have to do it again.

Stupid dell SMART PC laptops  They put a normal P4 desktop processor in a laptop and don't design a proper cooling system, well one thing is for sure I'll do more research before I buy my next laptop.
