Good times ahead?

I went to my oncologist on friday and it seems that if this other operation will go fine he will not give me more chemo until something starts growing again. He reckons my chances of staying well are bit better than a year ago, so thats good.

So I hope that I will have my hair in August for the big day ('8)

next round

Hmm, i'm back from my surgeon and it seem all ok. I'm supposed to expect the pain to persist for about 3 months and what is painfull in 3 moths is probably gonna be painfull for a long time to come. I'm not gona get to 3 month that early because they scheduled the next surgery on 23rd march so I should be pain free 3 months after that. Come on JULY...

Apparently its pretty good that i'm off painkillers already, i was suprised as i thought that i was taking them for to long. At the moment I lost 1 litre from capacity of my lungs but I should recover quite a lot of that, not that soon though because of another op..

Anyway, there were no nasty suprises. From the stuff they taken out only the ones that were growing were alive and the other ones were dead. Which i thought was good.

So now I got 4 weeks to find something to do before i go back to hospital :P

Complaining again

it seems that this blog has become my place to complain.... So its not a secret that i'm feeling shit again. It must be cold or something as i'm tired, coughing and ....

On a good side we had a nice Valentine's yesterday, well, until I fell asleep. Otherwise I don't have many news. Going for check up end of this week and maybe I'll find out when my other operation will be.

On a positive note, I'm now about 24, even 36 hours painkillers free, so that is some progress  So i guess it's not all so bad

bad days / good days

it wasn't too bad today, considering that the weather was shit. I managed to walk around london for most of the day.  Now i'm really tired and ready for bed, and thats not even seven o'clock yet

Stich free

Well, the nurse did find me after all and removed the rest of my stiches. So no its just 6 wounds slowly converting to 6 nasty scars. Another 3 scars should be added soon and that would bring the total to 10 in one year - good going I reckon :?

Otherwise not much has changed, my chest and back is sore but its getting slowely better, i'm having withdrawal symptoms as i'm trying to cut down on painkillers...

Weather is shit as always and I just remembered that I didn't go for my compulsory walk today, so cheers
